On the 14th of June, Danish-Chinese Business Forum Welcomed a Delegation from the National Exhibition and Convention Centre (NECC) Shanghai and Bank of China (Stockholm Branch) at the DCBF office.
At the meeting, Mr. Zhang Weimin, Assistant President of the NECC provided a briefing on the progress of the 6th CIIE, taking place from 5th-10th November 2023. The CIIE continues to be an important platform for promoting Danish exports to China. As Hans Henrik Pontoppidan said at the meeting, CIIE provides unique opportunities for Danish companies trying to set up or expand their business in the Chinese market.

In the afternoon, DCBF attended the 6th China International Import Expo Promotion Conference, Hosted by the CIIE Bureau and the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Denmark, and supported by Bank of China (Stockholm). Together with other prominent speakers our Secretary General, Hans Henrik Pontoppidan, provided a speech, emphasizing the importance of the CIIE to Danish companies.
At the Conference, Hans Henrik on behalf of DCBF, signed a MoU with the CIIE Bureau, thereby establishing partnership between CIIE and DCBF.
Danish companies’ interest in CIIE has continued to grow since the first CIIE in 2018. Many of DCBFs members have participated in CIIE either with their own exhibition stand or at the Danish Pavilion. This year, the Danish National Pavilion will focus on the Food industry, as well as sustainability - two key Danish strongholds.
Thank you to the organizing partners of the Danish National Pavilion, DI - Dansk Industri , The Trade Council and Food Nation Denmark, for their continued efforts towards bringing Danish products and solutions to CIIE.
