The quarterly Danish Business Outlook on China (DBOC) has been released for Q3, 2023
In Q3 of 2023, the short-term outlook of Danish companies has declined compared to the two previous quarters in 2023 and is now in negative territory for the first time this year. When breaking the outlook down into individual sectors, environment & water continues for the fifth consecutive quarter to be the sector indicating the highest index score among the respondents. In the opposing end of the spectrum, particularly the health sector drives the outlook in a negative direction most likely as a result of the current anti-corruption campaign in the hospital sector.
The DBOC tracks changes on the short-term outlook of Danish companies doing business in China. The index is a joint initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing, Danish Chamber of Commerce in China (DCCC), Danish-Chinese Business Forum (DCBF) and Sino-Danish Center for Education and Research (SDC).
