Copenhagen Design Week

The whole of Copenhagen is going to buzz with design-related activities and events as the first international Copenhagen Design Week is launched on August 27, running through September 6, 2009

Copenhagen Design Week is an international event that presents and reviews new ideas, knowledge and products - design which creates possibilities in our changing world. There will be focus on design and architecture that matter for society and the climate, presented via exhibitions, trade shows and seminars. Together these events illuminate the positive role that design can play in tackling the environmental and social challenges the world faces.

As part of this event, Danish-Chinese Business Forum has, in cooperation with some of the leading Danish designers within innovative design, invited a Chinese delegation composed of key opinion leaders and business executives, to participate in the Copenhagen Design Week. The Chinese delegation will also be attending the ‘Design Tour Copenhagen’ from August 24 to August 25, 2009, which is arranged by Danish-Chinese Business Forum.
