Mission & Vision

Danish-Chinese Business Forum is an independent, non-profit executive network organisation that works for the benefits of its members. Danish-Chinese Business Forum provides an extensive framework for knowledge exchange among members. The key strengths of Danish-Chinese Business Forum are the ability to react fast and focused to member’s needs requests and the ability to give independent advice.

Danish-Chinese Business Forum is recognized by the Danish and Chinese governments, official representations and other organizations and institutions.


Mission

Danish-Chinese Business Forum wishes to promote increased commercial and economic relations between Denmark and China with emphasis on Danish companies’ activities in the Chinese market as well as Chinese companies’ activities in Denmark by facilitating knowledge exchange among companies and organisations.

The mission will be achieved through a variety of activities arranged by Danish-Chinese Business Forum as well as through cooperation with official Danish and Chinese authorities, agencies and semi-official and private organizations.


Vision

Danish-Chinese Business Forum will be known as the best executive networking forum for top managers of Danish companies with interests in China as well as for top managers of Chinese companies with interests in Denmark. Danish-Chinese Business Forum will be the principal point of contact in Denmark for Danish and Chinese business executives.


Strategy

The key to fulfilling the mission and reaching the set goals and objectives is through maintaining the network at an executive level involving top managers of Danish and Chinese companies. Danish-Chinese Business Forum will actively ensure the executive level through:

-Engaging and activating the Board of Directors and Founders in promoting and creating awareness of Danish-Chinese Business Forum. This is an invaluable tool that has been established with the purpose of creating a strong executive profile to the benefit of Danish-Chinese Business Forum and its members.

-Creating events with important external speakers that will attract the top management of member companies.

-Maintaining close personal contact to the top managers of the member companies and hereby engaging them in the activities of Danish-Chinese Business Forum and enabling the Danish-Chinese Business Forum to tend to their needs.

-Maintaining strong relations to government officials and other relevant and important organizations that will enable Danish-Chinese Business Forum to provide access for top managers to important government officials and allowing Danish-Chinese Business Forum to influence official policies.

-Maintaining the top executives is crucial and only hereby will Danish-Chinese Business Forum be able to:

-Set itself apart from other organizations with interests in Danish-Chinese relations

-Attract new members

-Maintain its strong position with official Danish and Chinese authorities

Be the catalyst when it comes to problem solving for members

Danish-Chinese Business Forum has been founded with a strong executive profile and hereby instant recognition from both official Chinese and Danish side. This momentum must not be lost but should constantly be maintained and built on.

Danish-Chinese Business Forum has been founded as a private non profit association. Danish-Chinese Business Forum has the clear advantage of being flexible, able to act quickly, giving independent advice and providing an impressive representative frame for events – both in terms of physical surroundings and because of its high profile participants.


Growth

Danish-Chinese Business Forum will in 2009 focus on recruiting members who will contribute to the reinforcement of existing synergies in the network as well as companies who will expand the present scope of businesses. Danish-Chinese Business Forum furthermore wishes to include more Chinese companies in the network.
